Yogurt Brownies March, 2021.

Yogurt can be a great stand-in for butter, so give this recipe a chance.
You might find yourself baking these often once you taste how delicious they are.
- Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup full-fat plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- ¼ cup of canola oil
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- Directions
- Grease a 9” square baking pan with cooking spray or oil.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Beat the eggs and sugar with an electric mixer in a large-sized mixing bowl until frothy.
- Beat in the cocoa. Stir in the yogurt and continue to beat until well-combined.
- Beat in the vanilla and canola oil.
- Measure the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Sift directly into the cocoa batter.
- Mix until just incorporated into the cocoa batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Place in center of oven.
- Bake for 35 minutes (or when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or only moist crumbs).
- Cool the pan on a rack for at least 1 hour.
- Cut just before serving. 12-18 pieces
